Description
Have you dreamt of being less clumsy and more charming?
Then you’re in luck, because here's your opportunity to become a graceful, light footed, performer.
Ideal for beginners, Adult Ballet classes are now available at the studio.
Starting at 7pm on the 6th of January, $100 will get you 10 classes, every Friday to learn the secret to being graceful.
What you will need: flexible, tight clothes, lycra, running shorts etc.
A water bottle, and a happy attitude (and a pair of socks) :-D
If you dont want to commit to 10, and just want to try, casual class is $15
Price? $100 prepaid for all 10 classes, $15 Casual.

First class for Ballet for real People.
If sufficient are keen, we'll run more classe with staggered intakes.

Splits workshops

What
Julz Darroch is holding our fantastic and often requested splits workshops in October and November.
These are adesigned to teach the tools, stretches, strenght work and techniques to safely get into the splits.
You don't need to be able to do the splits prior, this will give you all you need to safely work towards getting
there without shocking muscles or overdoing it.
Price? $20 waged, $15 CSC / valid student ID holders, $10 NZ Pole champ entrants.
2:45pm Saturday 22 October:
The next splits workshop. This is preceeded by an hour of upper body strength training, all designed for those
of us who pole, but you don't need to do pole to attend!

Introduce yourself to fun and sexy art of burlesque with Miss Burlesque Sydney 2010, Danica Lee.
Learn all the basic classic burlesque moves including the shimmy, and the bump and grind as well as how to work a feather boa and gloves. By the end of this class you will incorporate your new found skills into a short and sassy dance routine.
This class is suitable for everyone, and students require no previous dance experience to participate.
She is the force behind the sellout show Burlesque Royale featuring Immodesty Blaize, Michelle L'amour, Kalani Kokonuts.
1pm and 2:45pm.
$45 per workshop.

This is a 2.5 hour workshop for those that are interested in learning a bit more about Burlesque but don't want to commit to a full course.
It will cover the history of burlesque, struts, glove and boa work and chair work.
This will be taken by Miss Taken and Miss Kimberley Grace.

Burlesque: Glamour Goddess Course with Miss La Vida

What
The Glamour Goddess course includes two 90 minute sessions taught by award winning burlesque sensation, Miss La Vida, from Auckland's MissChief Events.
She has just returned from the Burlesque Hall of Fame's Weekend in Las Vegas and has some great new moves for you to learn from the very best in the burlesque industry.
The course will focus on movement with props, namely boas and small feather fans, learning how to use these to tease your audience. All props will be provided. You will also learn a few striptease tips. Whether you have or haven't done a burlesque class before, you're guaranteed to learn something new and discover the glamour goddess within.

***All course participants will receive a CD of the music used on the course.
The total cost of the course is $80 and will be held on Saturday 24 July at The Studio from 13.00 – 16.30.

Burlesque: Bare Essentials Tease Course with Miss La Vida

What
Professional Goddess, Miss La Vida, will be running a course in the art of striptease on Sunday 20 July, 2010 at The Studio. You will be taught a 3 minute choreographed routine of classical burlesque, ready to perform for your special somone. The course is also suitable for those thinking of becoming professional burlesque entertainers.
Please be aware that there is an element of nudity in this class, as you will be learning how to remove clothing with elegance and tease. You will, for example, learn how to easily remove your bra, but you will wear something underneath it so that you are not totally exposed.
You will be required to have certain items of underwear such as a suspender belt and stockings. Further details will be given to you upon registration.
A pair of Sophia Lee pasties is included in the course price.
And all participants will receive a CD of the music for the routine.
The course costs $130 and space is limited to 6 people only.
A $40 deposit will be required on registering and the full amount must be received before Wednesday 21 July.
