The studio is located in central Wellington, New Zealand.
We have a shower and toilet facilities, 2 wonderful spaces for training and great neighbours (MSO and Vivo).
The reasons for learning pole are as varied as the amount of students and teachers we have, from accomplished performers to those who just want something a bit different to the repetition of the gym.
Many of our students undertake pole as they have found the gym has lost its challenge, is gettign boring and they're looking for something a bit different.
Pole is a great way to gain tone in the arms, legs and core. Especially the core as the abs do a lot of work.
Our students learn spin based trick, then learn how to blend these with transitions, holds, lifts / kicks and crazy gymnastic work.
Freestyle is important as it is the cardio side of pole. This is where all the bits learned in class get put together into a routine.
30 minutes of freestyle is more than enough to burn calories and build up quite a sweat.
We only teach for fitness and as a dance form.
